This dataset contains powder X-ray diffraction data, scanning electron microscopy (SEM) images and solid state nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) spectroscopy data (29-Si, 27-Al and 23-Na nuclei), used in the article 'Systematic approaches towards template-free synthesis of EMT-type zeolites'. Herein, research is performed to attempt to synthesise EMT-type zeolites without organic templates, and the influence of the crystallisation process on the amount of organic template is probed. The powder X-ray diffraction data were used to index and identify the structure of the relevant zeolite samples.
